Linda Nilsson is a Finnish/Canadian Business Development and Event Management professional with 15 years of work experience providing exceptional services for diverse firms and events in Europe and Canada. 

Linda lived in Canada for 15 years. During her time in Canada she has worked in various different industries which has given her a wide range of experiences and contacts. 

Work experience from Canada has included Embassy of Finland to Canada, BaAM Productions, Circle Blue Media, Centre for International Governance Innovation, ING Insurance, Intact Insurance, PwC. 

Linda is currently finishing her Masters of International Business Development in Finland and has gotten her Bachelor of Business Administration from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, Team Academy, that specializes in entrepreneurship and team work. 

Event Management experience has been gained from multiple world class events as well as graduation from Event Management Program from Conestoga College, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada where she graduated with distinction and received an Iron Chef Event Management Award. Upon returning to Finland she worked at Ramson & Co Brand Ambassadors. 

Linda has worked and volunteered in various roles, which has brought her variety of different skills: Toronto2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games (Ceremonies Crew), 2019 IIHF Women’s Ice Hockey World Championships, 2017 IIHF World Juniors Championships, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Evolve Festival, Henrixoe Fashion show etc. 

Linda has been part of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 2014. First a member in the Toronto, Canada chapter and during that time was also part of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Student Task Force (United States) 2015-2016. Linda is currently a member at Meeting Professionals International Finland Chapter and is serving as the VP of Communications and President Elect for MPI Finland Chapter Board for the 2019-2020 term. 

Linda feels passionate about making a positive change in the world.  Use of positive reinforcement and inspiring others to do things they never thought they would and see no limits to what they can achieve!
